Fire Safety Equipment

We often are involved in the planning and installation of Fire Safety Equipment into new buildings. There are so many regulations it can be very confusing as to what your requirements are. Often there can be several solutions and this is where the experience of Brisbane Fire Safety is invaluable. You need advice you can trust.

There are a several types of portable fire extinguishers available in Australia and each one does a different job. In some cases, particular extinguishers are not only considered ineffective against certain classes of fire, they can be out right dangerous if used in those circumstances.

Once an installation is completed we will then provide you or your builder with the Brisbane City Council compliancy Form 16 which is required to be submitted.

Once approval has been obtained, Fire Safety Statements should then be obtained on an annual basis, from the date on which the initial Fire Safety Certificate (formerly known as a Form 6 or Form 15 Certificate) was granted and submitted to council in response to a Building Approval, Construction Certificate, Complying Development Certificate, fire safety order or Development Consent.
